Wichita Falls Southwest Rotary Club announces the 2024 Four Way Speech contest in partnership with the Wichita Falls North Rotary Club.
Below is information pertaining to the upcoming 4 Way Speech Contest. We're looking forward to partnering with the North club for another great competition this year!
Dates to be aware of:
- Thu Feb 29 - Orientation Meeting for students and parents at 6p
- Mar 7-28, weekly on Thursdays - Mentorship and Coaching Sessions from 6-7p
- Thu Apr 4 - Speech Competition at 6:30p
All of the above events will take place at the Edgemere Church of Christ at 4728 Neta Lane in Wichita Falls.
Ways you can help:
- Spread the word! - if you know of students who might be interested, or someone who has contact with students, please pass this information along and help get it into as many hands as we can!
- Mentors - contact Lee if you're willing/available for mentorship of a student as you help them prepare their speech (mentoring sessions will take place on Thursday nights through the month of March - 4 nights total)
- Those who have raised their hand already: Jack Browne, Bruce Gray, Blaine Purcell
- Judges - contact Jean Hall if you're willing to serve as a judge on the night of the competition
- Club members willing to attend the night of the competition for moral support
- Club members willing to attend the district competition for moral support
